Car seats get treated worse than anything in the house. Coffee on the way to work, children eating in the back, a dog in the passenger footwell, sun beating through the glass onto the same patch of fabric every day. Unlike a sofa, a car seat also lives in a sealed box, so any smell that gets into the foam stays there and gets concentrated every time the car sits in the sun. Air fresheners cover it for a day and then you are back where you started.
We clean fabric car seats at £40 per seat, and we come to you — your driveway, your street or your workplace car park, wherever the car is. It is the same hot water extraction method and the same equipment we use on upholstery indoors, run at low moisture because a car interior has far less airflow than a living room and you do not want damp foam sitting in a closed vehicle.

Read this before you book a single seat. A car seat is £40, but our minimum spend per visit is £65 across every service. That means one seat on its own still comes to £65. Two seats at £80, or a single seat added to a carpet or sofa clean at your home, makes much better use of the visit. We would rather tell you that here than have you find out on the doorstep.
There is no call-out fee and never will be. We are not VAT registered, so nothing is added on top of the price you are quoted, and your first clean is 20% off.
Driver and passenger fabric seats at £40 each — the seats that take the most wear, the most spills and the most sun.

The difference between cleaning a sofa and cleaning a car seat is airflow. A living room has windows, doors, radiators and cubic metres of moving air. A car is a sealed metal box with a few litres of it. If you clean a car seat the way you would clean a sofa — same water volume, same technique — you end up with damp foam in an unventilated space, and within a couple of days the car smells worse than it did before you started.
So we run the machine at reduced flow and let the vacuum do most of the work, with extra dry recovery passes at the end specifically to pull moisture back out of the foam. The seat should feel cool and slightly damp when we finish, not wet, and be fully dry in 2 to 3 hours with the windows cracked. That is the single most important thing about doing this job properly and it is the reason we do not simply valet the seats with a wet brush.
What comes out and what does not. Everyday soiling, food and drink spills, body oils, pet hair and general staleness generally come out well. Sun-faded fabric will not come back — that is UV damage to the dye, not dirt. Dye transfer from denim onto light-coloured seats is often permanent. And where a pet has urinated on a seat, a standard clean is the wrong treatment: urine soaks into seat foam and needs an enzyme treatment with proper dwell time, which is a separate £85 service.
Booking sensibly. Because the minimum spend per visit is £65, a single £40 seat on its own is poor value for you. Most people either have two or more seats done, or have the car done at the same time as carpets or a sofa in the house. If you are already booking a home clean, mention the car when you call and we will build it into the same visit.
