End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning: A Checklist for Tenants and Landlords
By Mr Expert Carpet Cleaning, Slough · Updated
Check your tenancy agreement for a carpet cleaning clause, book a professional clean once the property is empty, and keep your receipt. End of tenancy carpet cleaning with Mr Expert starts from £95 for a 1-bed, £140 for a 2-bed and £190 for a 3-bed (carpets only).
Before you book
Read your tenancy agreement. Many require carpets to be returned in a clean condition and some ask for professional cleaning.
Look at the check-in inventory and photos. The aim is to return the carpets in the same condition, allowing for normal wear.
Note any stains or marks now, so you can tell the cleaner what needs extra attention.
Before the cleaners arrive
Clear the rooms of furniture and belongings where possible. Tell us about anything heavy that stays.
Make sure we can get in and that there is a working power and water supply.
Tell us about pet accidents, red wine, ink or other stains so we can plan the treatment.
What we do
We check the carpet type, treat stains and traffic lanes, clean with hot water extraction and biodegradable, non-toxic products, then groom the pile. Carpets are typically dry in 2 to 3 hours. We walk through the cleaned rooms with you before we finish.
